Clarinet Concerto
This work is in the planning stages.
Scored for string orchestra, harp, and piano, this lush arrangement of Dvořák's "Songs My Mother Taught Me" and the folk tune "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" was commissioned for a concert honoring Doris Preucil's retirement as Director of the Preucil School of Music. Ca. 8 mins.
Prelude and Fugue for Two Cellos and String Orchestra
This work is in currently in progress. My plans are to create a 10-12 minute piece for two cello soloists accompanied by string orchestra, harp, and piano.
Serenade for String Orchestra
This work is in the planning stages. It will be around 10-15 minutes long, contain three or four movements, and may also include a part for harp and/or piano. My goal is for this piece to be dramatically interesting while only moderately difficulty, so that it can also be performed by high-quality high school or community string ensembles.
A Holiday Interlude for Strings
A lush arrangement of "In the Bleak Midwinter" and "Quem Pastores"; Scored for strings (at least 3, 3, 2, 1, 1, with an optional version containing a divided cello part); Ca. 3 mins.

Variation on a Theme by Dvořák
I was one of several composers commissioned by Red Cedar Chamber Music to create a set of variations called "Spillville Variations on a Theme by Dvořák." Each composer was asked to write one variation on the main theme from the Scherzo movement of Dvořák's "American" Quartet, opus 96, and I chose to make my variation a fugue.
